Now's your chance to visit the City's Let’s ACT at Home Exhibition

We’re calling all residents, home renovators, learners, built environment professionals and new homeowners. This is your opportunity to visit the Let’s ACT at Home Exhibition at the Building Centre in Northgate Island. Have you always wanted to see a real-life example of net-zero carbon living and discover practical ways to reduce energy use at home? Now you can!

The exhibition is only open for guided tours on two more dates: This Saturday, 30 May 2026, and next Saturday, 6 June 2026.

Everyone interested in exploring demonstrations of how to reduce energy consumption and lower household costs can learn something useful at this exhibition. You are invited to tour the City’s Let’s ACT at Home exhibition space, which is part of the Cape Town Future Energy Festival.

The festival is a movement to educate residents about their energy choices. It aims to provide residents with the knowledge, tools and inspiring experiences which will empower them to make smarter energy decisions. The festival is helping households while creating awareness about the energy landscape and climate change.

We are hosting guided tours of our Let’s ACT at home exhibition at the Building Centre.

Where: 7 Platinum Drive, Northgate Estate
Dates: 30 May and 6 June 2026

Schools wishing to bring a group of grade six and seven learners for a bespoke tour, are encouraged to contact SustainableEnergyMarkets.enquiries@capetown.gov.za

Everyone is welcome to visit during the general opening hours:

Monday to Friday: 09:00 to 16:00
Saturdays and Sundays: 10:00 to 15:00
